Rick Elzinga on WPM Kawasaki enduro !

Rick Elzinga Makes Enduro Debut with WPM Team Kawasaki

Rick Elzinga will be swapping his motocross bike for an enduro machine in the coming weeks. The former EMX250 European Champion will compete in the final two rounds of the Dutch Open Enduro Championship (ONK Enduro) aboard a Kawasaki with the WPM Team. The next round takes place this Saturday in Zelhem, followed by the championship finale in Hellendoorn.

For Elzinga, competing in the ONK Enduro provides an excellent opportunity to approach his sport from a different perspective during the winter period. The motocross rider intends to use the events primarily as winter training, with the longer special tests and the challenge of adapting to different conditions offering a welcome change from his regular motocross training sessions.

The collaboration with the WPM Team will allow Elzinga to compete on a Kawasaki at both events. He will also have the support of André Pullen, who has played an important role in making his participation possible.

Elzinga is looking forward to the upcoming events. Above all, his focus is on enjoying the ride, while enduro offers an excellent opportunity to remain active on a motorcycle throughout the winter months.

The first event takes place this Saturday in Zelhem. Elzinga will then compete in the final championship round in Hellendoorn, bringing the ONK Enduro season to a close.

Elzinga would like to thank the WPM Team, and André Pullen in particular, for their support. He also extends his gratitude to the KNMV and his personal sponsors, whose support makes his participation in these events possible.
